Workbench arrived on time. Build instructions poor. Easy to use. Very steady when in use. Folds up easily. The vertical flip jaw is a good idea. Twin working height works well. Overall product very good.

It's a heavy sturdy unit, but with a few bits that I'm not sure will stand the test of time -- the one-handed operation mechanism seems flimsy and sometimes jams, while the catches tend to end up on the wrong side of their slots when folding up the workmate. Hopefully nothing that a bit of oil won't solve. Also, the assembly instructions are wrong - looks like they changed how the unit was packaged after writing the booklet. Getting the handles was very difficult, requiring clamps, a small vice, and plenty of "gentle persuasion" with a hammer! Still, it's nice now that it's been put together. Delivery from Tooled-Up was excellent and it was a good price.

Bought for husband as a Christmas present to replace a Black and Decker one he had when we were first married nearly 40 years ago. If this one lasts as well I will be very pleased. Looks good.

This product looks fine to me. I like the safely step, But I have only recently received it and being pressed to give a review when I have not yet fully tested it. IF YOU BUY THIS PRODUCT, look at the video on YouTube by "Mrs T" to see how to assemble it. The instructions in the box are useless and have details missing. You need a normal hammer to assemble part of this product

Replaced the old one - an excellent piece of kit. Would like to see replacement vices more available for this model, but can't fault the working.

This was a present so we wanted to give it intact. It would have been very helpful to have been told 2 other items were in the same box. It wasn't an outer box but the named workmate box. This wasn't a good idea to pack altogether!

Delighted that Workmates are now shipped with wooden vice plates again. My last one lasted 20 years but the chipboard plates eventually gave way. This new one looks the biz.

Excellent product, have had quite a few of these over many years. Did find putting it together a bit testy as the diagrams were not very clear. I am highly satisfied with the bench.

This was bought to replace my other B&D workmate which is 30 years old but needs bungee clips to hold the lower legs open and shut! This one has more options including pivoting one of the boards upright to create a right angle when working. It's a quality product that will serve as a useful workbench for 95% of the average DIYers tasks. However, be warned, the assembly instructions are simply dreadful, a complete waste of time. Go on YouTube and there's plenty of easy to follow videos there on how to assemble and use this model. Use the instruction leaflet to start your next barbecue because thats all its good for. Service from Tooled-Up was very good as always, and the price on this was about £20 better than everywhere else I looked.
