Q : What is the pitch ???
A : Good afternoon, It would depend on the diameter required. M3 is 0.5mm, M4 is 0.7mm, M5 is 0.8mm, M6 is 1.0mm, M8 is 1.25mm, M10 is 1.5mm.
Q : Can they be used on hardened steel?
A : Hi Kelvin, sorry for the delay in getting back to you - I had to ask Wera for more information. They've now confirmed that the 844 taps are not suitable for use in hardened steel.
Q : Can these be used with either a impact driver or impact wrench? Thanks
A : Hi James, they aren't impact rated so it wouldn't be recommended (I'm guessing most impact wrenches would destroy them almost instantaneously in fact)
