Replacement for much thicker cord. This cord seems just as strong and slices its way through long grass and nettles with ease, with the added bonus of getting more on the reel. The ridges really seem to help.

Looking for this specific strimmer line previously purchased at screwfix several years ago but no longer stocked by them. Use this brand as it comes in easy to use round container. No faff. Used for professional garden maintenance. Found tooled-up.com after google search for the product. Cheaper than ebay and amazon. Ordered 3 packs as looks like they don't manufacture this anymore. Will last a while. Goods came the next day. Really good service. No problems.

I've used this strimmer line before.. Its the best strimmer line I've used up to now...It good value for the money and it cuts grass no problem at all

Use of a 'star' shaped cord seems to make sense, presenting a series of 'sharper edges' when cutting. Pleased with the performance so far, although recent dry weather had slowed down rate of grass growth, so not really tackled any very long grass, but satisfied with results so far. Comes in a handy storage pack - I cut a small slot in the back of my package to slot in the end of the cord, making it easier to keep it tidy and find the end each time! Delivery was fairly slow on this occasion, but I put this down to Covid restrictions, so one can't be too critical!

Impressed by this Handy trimmer line from previous use I ordered two more reels from tooled-up.com. This 2.4 mm ribbed line definitely last a lot longer than the standard non-ribbed line. I strongly recommend this product. Service, price and delivery present tooled-up as a preferred supplier for me.
