Excellent saw. Sturdy construction. Easy to fit on the Fiskar upx86. Cuts very well. Made short work of my Yew tree. Looking forward to trimming my Apple tree next.

For an old techno Neanderthal negotiating the website was simple, the extensive choice of quality products was fantastic. Found the Fiskars tool needed, fair price, simple to order and pay for, s on selection, packaged, dispatched and delivery. I bought this saw attachment to go on my Fiskars lopper if I ever needed one . It fits on lopper within seconds and good quality .

I'm nearly didn't buy this to go with my pruner and I'm very happy I did. Personally having only had it for a few days I wouldn't buy the pruner without the saw as you are very likely to come across a branch that is too big for the pruner. The saw is extremely sharp and cut through 2,3,4" branches easily at full extension. I had one occasion when the clip that holds the saw on came off and I had to recover the blade stuck in the tree but this coiuld just have been that I hadn't done the locking screw tightly enough

Saw looked very good quality but I bought it to accompany my wilkinson sword pruner which looks identical to the fiskars pruner but sadly will not fit .

Very good design, fits easily onto top of pruner with pruner cutter tucked out of the way. Attach & remove without tools. It's very sharp!

Q : We ordered the UPX82 pruner from Amazon and on their site they advised that the UP80 pole extender was compatible with it but we cannot work out how they fit together. Please could you advise. Many thanks Adrian
A : Hi Adrian, was a bit confused there as you've asked the question on a separate product but OK here goes: as far as I understand the newer "X" series pruners, like the UPX82 you have bought, are actually incompatible with the older accessories which were designed for the previous (non "X") generation. So, I believe the UP80 can be used with the UP82, but not the UPX82. However, we don't stock the UP80 so you might want to check with Fiskars (or the supplier who sold you it) to see if they can confirm.
Q : Will the saw fit the wilkinson sword pruner it looks the same as the friskers pruner. Regards
A : Hi Terry, by some reports there was an older Wilkinson Sword tree pruner which was very similar to the UPX86 but I'm afraid I can't confirm if they are compatible (note that this is also a revised design which is supposed to only be compatible with the newer Fiskars PowerGear tree pruners - there was another model for the previous generation which has since been discontinued, though at a guess I'd say that one may be more likely to fit)

A : Hi Ron, I'm afraid this attachment is only compatible with the newer X (PowerGear) models mentioned. Fiskars did manufacture a similar product for the UP86 but we don't stock it any more so it looks like it has since been discontinued.
