A : Good afternoon, The D-tec 200 is the newer model as it has a greater range.

A : Good morning, I am afraid this is not information we have been given by Bosch.
Q : Does Tooled-Up ship product to Canada, and if so will they ship the Bosch D-tect 200 C Professional Cordless Wall Scanner Detector?
A : I'm afraid we can't ship to Canada through orders placed on our website. You may be able to order one through eBay for example, where we do list many products - however, these kinds of global shipments are all arranged by third parties and not something we manage ourselves.

Q : Hi Is the device has self calibration? or do we need to calibrate it every year?
A : Hi Diana, as far as I'm aware the D-Tect 200 C is self calibrating. The manual advises that if you're using it in a new environment (with a significant change in temperature for example) then it should be left for a few minutes to adjust to the surroundings before taking any readings. It makes no other reference to having to calibrate the device on a regular basis though you may be able to get clarification from Bosch if you contact them directly.
Q : I AM LOOKING WALL SCANER TO DETECT METAL AND PVC PIPE AND WOODEN OBJECTS BEHIND THE WALL OR CONCRETE SLAB
A : As stated in the description the D-Tect 200 C can pick up magnetic metals (e.g. iron), non-magnetic metals (e.g. copper), live cables, non-live cables, plastic pipes, water-filled plastic pipes and wooden substructures, so it sounds like that should have you covered. Suitable wall types include Brick/Universal, Concrete, Drywall, Panel Heating, Early age concrete, Horizontal coring brick and Vertical coring brick.

A : Hi Khaled, currently there is no stock available of the bare tool or the battery kit version - there should be more coming in at some point but we're waiting for Bosch to confirm when the next shipment should arrive
Q : Where is made?
A : Unfortunately we don't have any of these in stock currently and Bosch haven't specified where they are manufactured. (in some cases the same product range can be manufactured in more than one facility anyway)
Q : USA distributor
A : Hi Sergio, you would have to speak to Bosch to find out who your local distributor is. It could be that it's not available in the states yet as this tool has only just come out in Europe

This product carries a full 3 year manufacturers warranty covering both faulty materials and faulty workmanship, it does not cover general wear and tear or damage, batteries, blades, bulbs and other consumables. In the unlikely event of a fault the item returned is subject to fair wear & tear and must not have been used beyond the scope of it's design. Please note that cordless products will normally have a shorter warranty of just 1 Year for the battery and or charger supplied.
